week 8

fresh from the farm stand!!


loads of brocolli...red onions are back!...cabbage (the tierra menu has a terrific sounding thai salad recipe for this)...tomatoes...summer squash...the world's sweetest carrots...and last, but definitely not least, seascape strawberries.

(Not sure what the seascape variety is known for -- all these details are rather new to us -- but I do know that only 2/3 of them made it home from the farm...and that took considerable restraint on my part.)
